The Rise of Summer
A kaleidoscopic excursion into sound and silence.
Music is a flow, a stream of vibrations, rich with memories and pulses that can effortlessly bring you to a good place, a wide open space.
As a musician and composer, I have searched for this place, inspired to share something of what I have experienced in meditation. Meditation doesn't have to be dull and dry — music is the festivity that happens when the soul is within a short distance of its home.
To me, meditation is a remembering, and music is the way to share it with my fellow travelers in the hope that they too feel a connected kinship with sounds that merge and cascade over life's peaks and valleys.
I created this album as an expression of hope, hope in human flourishing, celebration and the new beginnings that I feel are around the corner.
I hope this music leads you to as much celebration as the making of it has given to me.
